The IPAI Collaborative Piano Program is designed to provide coach accompanists/pianists with the opportunity to study, perform and accompany with artists throughout the US and Europe. Participants accompany 15 to 20 hours per week and receive lessons and instruction from Resident Faculty Artists. Program Fellows and Program Apprentices participate in master-classes with visiting artists, have recital opportunities, play for final performances and are free to visit the Salzburg and Munich music festivals located 1 hour from the IPAI Campus. 2011 Visiting Artists include: Barbara Daniels, Robert Tannenbaum, Lynda Kemeny, Ellen Rissinger, Esther Jane Hardenburg, Bruce Earnest and others. All Fellows receive housing and two meals per day for the three week program.
Enrollment is limited and competitive. Participants are chosen by an audition panel and are awarded fellowship or apprentice financial awards based on experience and ability. Costs for IPAI Collaborative Fellows is $1800 and $2300 for IPAI Collaborative Apprentices. Please contact Bruce Earnest @ bruceearnest@mac.com. We have one slot for this program available. Collaborative participants must make a $500 deposit by March 1, 2012. Tuition is due in full by May 30th.
