How is IPAI better than the rest?
IPAI offers professional training in both musical theatre and opera from artists from all over the world. The primary goal of IPAI is to help you realize your full potential as a singer-actor in an environment that nurtures your creativity while offering real-life opportunities for artistic employment in Europe.
To ensure the highest quality training, IPAI is limiting the number of participants. Each IPAI participant receives 2 private voice, acting and repertoire coaching lessons per week as well as daily German language and dance classes. In addition to travel opportunities, evenings are spent working with master teachers and guest lecturers active in the opera and musical theatre industries. Topics will include: Auditioning, Song Interpretation, Acting, Vocal Technique, Movement and Business aspects of Opera and Musical Theatre.
This three-week program will also include a Musical Theatre Intensive to be held in Hamburg as well as an Opera Intensive with conductors and stage managers. Qualified artists can audition for agents and casting professionals at the discretion of the faculty. Performance opportunities will also include an Opera/Lieder Concert and a Musical Theatre Performance.
