How is IPAI better than the rest?
IPAI offers professional training in both musical theatre and opera from artists from all over the world. The primary goal of IPAI is to help you realize your full potential as a singer-actor in an environment that nurtures your creativity while offering real-life opportunities for artistic employment in Europe.

To ensure the highest quality training, IPAI is limiting the number of participants.
Each IPAI participant receives 2 private voice, acting and repertoire coaching lessons per week as well as daily German language and dance classes.
In addition to travel opportunities, evenings are spent working with master teachers and guest lecturers active in the opera and musical theatre industries.
Topics will include: Auditioning, Song Interpretation, Acting, Vocal Technique, Movement and Business aspects of Opera and Musical Theatre.

This three-week program will also include a Musical Theatre Intensive to be held in Hamburg as well as an Opera Intensive to be held in Munich with industry leaders currently active in their fields. Performance opportunities will also include an Opera/Lieder Concert and a Musical Theatre Performance.

IPAI is the only summer study program in partnership with the Joop Van den Ende Academy and Stage Entertainment. The Joop Van den Ende Academy is the premier private musical theatre training academy in Germany, and Stage Entertainment is the largest producer of professional musicals in all of Europe.
